Bookkeeper
Duties and Responsibilities
· Accounts preparation/ statutory accounts/ Data Entry
· Responsible for accounts receivable management (summary/detailed/aging)
· Responsible for accounts payable management (summary/detailed/aging)
· Generate reports like inventory and commission reports
· Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation
· Accounting system setup on new and existing companies
· Prepare customized financial statements as requested.
· Implement record keeping and accounting procedures
· Perform miscellaneous accounting and administration functions
Skills and Educational Requirements
· Associates or Bachelors degree
· 2 to 4 years experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting field
· Familiar with MS word, Excel, Quickbooks or similar accounting software.
· Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking and analysis and reporting of financial data
· Ability to operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
· Ability to do debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
· Ability to do financial calculations such as amounts due, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity, and principal
· Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide quickly and correctly
· Ability to choose right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
· Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
· Knowledge of compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, and verifying information or data.
· Ability to communicate with clients through email, chat and phone
